Home built in 1984 or earlier??? You could have asbestos!

Many homes in Mission Viejo were built in the '70s and '80s, unfortunately, many of them with asbestos-containing materials. If you have a popcorn ceiling...you likely have asbestos. If you have original vinyl flooring...you likely have asbestos. Now, the asbestos fibers are not dangerous as long as they do not get wet, or disturbed and become airborne. SERVPRO of Mission Viejo technicians always make sure water or fire-damaged commercial and residential properties are tested for asbestos prior to any restoration work being completed. Maricela is SERVPRO of Mission Viejo's Director of Field Operations. This "Superwoman" runs the show at every job. She is the first person on site after the initial call and the last one to leave when the job is finished. Maricela has 25yrs of extensive restoration experience, including both residential and commercial. No matter what type of emergency (water, fire, mold), she has seen it all! Maricela is responsible for the initial evaluation and determining the extent of damage at every job, as well as scheduling and running crews at multiple jobs daily. 

Maricela's passion is rescuing and raising birds. She built a 150' enclosed aviary at her home, where she loves and cares for approximately 120 parakeets, love birds, and cockatoos! 

Maricela is an invaluable member of the SERVPRO of Mission Viejo team and will ensure your home or office is left "Like it never even happened"!
