Water and Mold Damage to Commercial Property

SERVPRO of Mission Viejo received a call from the owner of a large commercial business in Mission Viejo. The water damage occurred while the facility was closed over the weekend. The owner discovered it upon returning to work. The source of the loss was a water fountain in the hallway that had been stuck running for 3 days. The entire 6,000sq foot business was flooded! SERVPRO of Mission Viejo arrived within 2hrs of the call and started pulling out wet carpet, flooring, and drywall. Upon opening up the walls to begin the drying process, our team discovered mold (from previous undetected leaks). Our mold remediation team immediately went to work in full hazmat suits, setting up sealed containment areas where the mold was detected. SERVPRO of Mission Viejo removed all of the wet flooring, carpet, tile, drywall, wood doors, and mold. Our team placed drying equipment, air scrubbers, and dehumidifiers throughout the business. After a couple of weeks, the property was fully dry, mold-free, and ready for re-construction. The owner was very pleased with SERVPRO of Mission Viejo's quick response, which enabled him to reopen his business quickly. SERVPRO of Mission Viejo is always here to help!
