Yes, SERVPRO of Mission Viejo provides other additional services like Pack-out and Pack-back. These services are needed sometimes when water, fire, or mold damage occurs in a residential or commercial property. There are instances where affected rooms must have their contents packed up in order to facilitate water, fire, or mold mitigation. We pack all contents nice, safe, and secure to avoid damages. We pack all contents will bubble wrap, blankets, and packing paper if needed. SERVPRO of Mission Viejo will pack-back all personal items back in their original location or new desired areas.

This is also required in cases where restoration/reconstruction work is performed following the mitigation work.

Contents Pack-Out, Restoration and Pack-Back: What you need to know!

When people refer to “water damage restoration”, they typically mean the entire restoration process from start to finish. Included in that process is the "pack-out" and "pack-back" of your contents. It is easy to overlook this step, but it is quite important. SERVPRO Mission Viejo takes great care in creating a very detailed inventory list for each affected room, with photos. Each box is carefully labeled with the contents of that box and which room it belongs to. During the property restoration phase, the contents are stored in a dedicated, temperature controlled, secure storage unit until the restoration process is completed. Upon completion, our detail oriented SERVPRO contents managers will "pack-back" your items to their original locations leaving your property "Like it never even happened"!

Clean Containment Provides Protection

When there is an unexpected pipe burst in your home and several rooms are affected, it's important to "contain" the situation to prevent further damage and to protect all adjacent rooms. SERVPRO of Mission Viejo's team of professionals are "containment experts". Prior to removing any wet, damaged carpet, drywall, flooring, cabinets, etc...SERVPRO's Emergency Service Team installs heavy plastic containment walls (including zippers for entry and exit) from floor to ceiling using non-damaging, safe tape to secure the plastic. In addition, all floors leading to the damaged areas are covered and protected, including outside walkways. Once the restoration is complete, SERVPRO of Mission Viejo removes the containments, leaving the entire property "Like it never even happened."

SERVPRO of Mission Viejo provided emergency water damage services and restoration to a large estate home approximately 2 years ago, when the homeowners had a major pipe leak and flood. The customer was very pleased with the service and care our team took to protect all of the precious contents in their home during that water damage emergency. So much so, they recently called us back to install protection/containment throughout the entire home prior to beginning a new major remodel on this 5000sf estate. SERVPRO of Mission Viejo's team went to work and carefully covered/protected all of the rooms, including artwork, marble flooring, granite counters, banisters, carpet, etc...When the remodel is complete, the home will be restored to "Like it never even happened," condition!
